Meanwhile on Wednesday, Horizon Boys Golf will be testing their skill against nearly two dozen other teams as they host the Aguila Open. Other North Valley teams participating include Saguaro, Pinnacle, Cactus Shadows and Arcadia.

In girls flag football, Pinnacle started the week off with a 13-7 win over Prescott on Monday. On Tuesday, Notre Dame Prep beat Paradise Valley 42-6, while Desert Mountain fell to Prescott 16-6. Horizon also won a close battle, edging out Mountain Pointe 3-0 to pick up a victory.

On Wednesday, Saguaro will host Tempe as one of only seven flag games across the state. Thursday is a busy day with nearly all the flag football teams in action. Pinnacle is currently without an opponent for Friday as Saguaro pulled out of its third game of the season, this time citing academic reasons.
