Mockingbird Lane improvement option selected by Paradise Valley Town Council

Council members dissatisfied with consultant

After more than three months since a “hybrid” option was requested, Paradise Valley Town Council was presented with another alternative for roadway improvements on Mockingbird Lane from 56th Street to Invergordon Road.

This stretch of Mockingbird Lane is an east-west collector, separate from the north-south Mockingbird Lane between Lincoln and McDonald drives.

At the meeting May 23, staff asked council members to decide on a single concept so they can move forward with the project design – currently at 60%. Town Council has gone back and forth in considering options but are now in support of the “hybrid” fourth option that has chicanes and medians, approximately $6.8 million in cost.
