Maricopa County Colleges is adding three new bachelor's degree programs to its offerings, bringing the total number of programs to 11.
Starting in fall 2025, programs offering bachelor's degrees in artificial intelligence and machine learning will be available at Chandler-Gilbert Community College; business administration accounting will be available at Paradise Valley Community College; and business administration management will be available at Scottsdale Community College.
“Our bachelor’s degree programs are an affordable alternative to traditional four-year universities that open doors to high-impact, high-demand, and high-wage careers while addressing critical workforce shortages," said Dr. Steven R. Gonzales, Maricopa Community Colleges chancellor, in a press release.
MCC has roughly 5,000 students participating in its current eight bachelor's degree programs, with 61% of them being first-generation college students. Last year five students received bachelor's degrees through the program.
