Kasai’s new owner sponsors annual charity golf tournament

Kasai Japanese Steakhouse’s new owner has donated $5,000 to support the restaurant’s annual Fire & Fairways Charity Golf Tournament benefiting Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers.

Scottsdale-based Executive Decisions Group Inc., which recently acquired Kasai, is serving as the title sponsor of the fourth annual tournament.

The event is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 21, at the Westin Kierland Golf Club in Scottsdale.

Proceeds from the tournament will support Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers, which provide free music, arts and vocational training programs for Arizona teenagers.

Kasai, founded in Arizona in 2001, said it plans to expand the restaurant brand nationally while continuing to operate alongside the founding Russello family.
