Weedmaps, a cannabis marketplace and discovery platform, is the partner of Record Breakers, an extreme sports spectacle taking over Revel Surf Park in Mesa on Jan. 31.

The full-day festival at 4503 S. Power Road in Mesa will unite elite athletes, world-record attempts, live music and thousands of fans for a collision of adrenaline, culture and recovery-driven performance, it states in a release.

World-record attempts include Colby Raha, X Games multi-medalist and current holder of multiple motorcycle distance and high-air records, who will attempt the world’s first Moto Mega Ramp by launching up to 300 feet over the Revel Surf Park lagoon before landing into a 28-foot quarter pipe, reaching heights of 100 vertical feet for the highest quarter pipe air ever attempted.

Alan Ampudia, reigning SCORE Trophy Truck Champion, will attempt the longest trophy truck distance jump, while Andrew Topa goes for the world’s highest BMX flair off an 18-foot quarter pipe. Dennis Enarson will debut the world’s first NBD Dirt Mini Mega course, supported by custom-built ramps and extended dirt landings engineered exclusively for this event, the release states.

The event reaches its peak at sunset with three world-record stunts, followed by a headline live performance from The All-American Rejects and an exclusive after-party for GA and VIP guests. The event blends multiple world-record attempts with live music in a high-energy, live-audience setting that captures the raw thrill of history in the making, it states.

“At Weedmaps, we’re passionate about bridging the worlds of cannabis and sports because they share the same ethos, pushing boundaries, embracing innovation, and building resilience,” Jonathan “JJ” Jones, SVP of markets and culture at Weedmaps, said in the release. “This partnership is about educating athletes and fans on safe, informed cannabis use, from prevention and performance to recovery and long-term wellness. You can’t break records without recovery.”
