Rodney Peete will join Bernie Kosar and Ken Anderson as the next inductees of the National Quarterback Club Hall of Fame during a Feb. 23 ceremony at The Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch.

Peete, a native of Mesa, played college football at the University of Southern California where finished his Trojan career as the all-time leader in completions, passing yards and total offense, according to a release.

After his final season, he finished second to Barry Sanders for the Heisman Trophy. He played 16 years in the NFL.

Joining Peete, Kosar and Anderson is DJ Lagway, who will enter the University of Florida following his 74-touchdown 2023 season at Willis High School in Texas, event organizers said in the release.
