John, Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Rosholt McConnell, a devoted husband, loving father, doting grandfather, and cherished great-grandfather. He departed this world on November 12, 2023 with his wife, Annette, by his side.
Born on November 5, 1942 in Illinois, in his early childhood his family moved to Green Bay (a dedicated Packer fan). After graduating from high school, he enlisted into the United States Air Force at an early age. He was a member of DAV Star Chapter 24 Sun City.
John lived a life marked by warmth, kindness, and an unwavering dedication to God, his family, friends, county. He was a pillar of strength and a source of inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know him. His memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.
John Rosholt McConnell is survived by his adoring wife, Annette, with whom he shared 29 years of love and companionship. Together, they created a home filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories. His three children were his pride and joy, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and guidance that will continue to resonate through generations.
The joy of John’s life extended to his five grandchildren, who were the apples of his eye. He delighted in their achievements, celebrated their milestones, and reveled in the unique bond he shared with each of them. His wisdom and love will forever be a source of guidance for these cherished grandchildren.
In addition to his grandchildren, John had the pleasure of witnessing the growth of his five great-grandchildren. Their laughter brought him immeasurable joy, and he took pride in watching the family expand through the generations.
Over several decades John was a top salesperson with IBM, DEC (Digital Equipment Corporation), Oracle, etc. Once he retired, he transited into real estate where he added depth and richness to his life. His impact reached far beyond his immediate family, touching the lives of friends, colleagues, and anyone fortunate enough to cross his path.
