A Halloween edition of Cockpit Close-Up, a free event for families and kids in costume, is 8-10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Falcon Field Airport in Mesa.
It will be at the World War II hangar at 4626 E. Fighter Aces Drive and includes a chance to explore the historic hangar, trick-or-treat with city of Mesa departments and Falcon Field businesses, and get up close with private aircraft presented by WOFF, a volunteer pilot organization based at Falcon Field.

Falcon Field includes a total of 784 acres between Greenfield, Higley, McDowell and McKellips roads in northeast Mesa. There are currently more than 800 aircraft based at Falcon Field.
