Mesa resident Brian Jarvis, a former traveling nurse, died May 18 after facing his second battle with colorectal cancer earlier this year. He is survived by his wife and two young daughters, who now face significant medical bills as a consequence of his fight against cancer.

His wife, Breana, has organized a fundraiser on AngeLink to reduce the financial burden of memorial expenses and provide support to the family during this difficult time, according to a release.

As of June 11, a total of $12,381 has been raised toward her $15,000 goal, it states at https://angelink.com/fundraiser-public/3ebc48b0-151a-4624-a667-f871e8ac1951

Jarvis was 35 when he died, according to his obituary at https://www.legacy.com/us/obituaries/name/brian-jarvis-obituary?id=55159797
