The 100th Dunkin’ restaurant in Arizona at 6375 S. Kyrene Road in Tempe is working to support valley children, teachers and first responders during its grand opening on March 29 from 7 to 10 a.m.

In addition to hosting free coffee for a year to the first 100 guests in line, ribbon cutting with Vice Mayor Randy Keating, activities and giveaways, $1,000 will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of East Valley-Metro Phoenix which serves more than 16,000 youth who are members at 27 clubs, along with 35,000 other youth across the Valley.

“We’re thrilled to open Arizona’s 100th Dunkin’ location here in Tempe, near so many of our loyal Dunkin’ fans,” said Alex Apodaca, Vice President of Operations for Quality Brands, a large Arizona franchise operator that employs nearly 1,500 individuals in the state. “This location focuses on convenience and savings for our valued guests with accessible drive-thru, in-store charging stations, free Wi-Fi, DD perks for optimal savings and a new design tailored to facilitate the way guests prefer to Dunkin’!”

Additionally, the restaurant will commemorate the 100th location by delivering 100 surprise boxes of donuts to various Tempe community organizations, including children at the Thunderbird Boys & Girls Club branch on Friday, March 25, Frank Elementary School teachers and Tempe police officers on Monday.

This Dunkin’ location features a drive-thru, plus indoor and outdoor fast-casual seating for more than 50 guests. In addition to its signature 50+ donut combinations and dozens of premium beverages, this location offers a variety of other options such as bagels, muffins, and sandwiches as well as tea, Coolattas, Dunkin’ Refreshers and much more.

The store features a modern NextGen design and in-store innovations. These include an array of new and exciting elements including a drive-thru lane and beverage bar tap system for nitro and cold-brewed coffee. Guests will also appreciate the in-store charging stations and free wi-fi.

“Arizona runs on Dunkin’ with the opening of our 100th location in the state,” added Apodaca. “Long-time Arizonans as well as recent transplants have been loyal customers as we focus on expanding in areas rich in culture, community and coffee lovers. We’re proud to bring thousands of jobs to Arizona and serve our loyal Dunkin’ guests in the Grand Canyon State.”

Dunkin’ currently employs 5,000 Arizonans with plans to add more Arizona locations in the future. Each year, franchisees and guests donate more than $20,000 through Dunkin’s Joy in Childhood Foundation to local food banks, children’s hospitals and more. Local Arizona franchisees average an additional $20,000 each year in donations to local schools, children’s sports teams, nurses and other community organizations.
