The Arizona EV Fleet Day is a free event on April 3 for business professionals interested in learning about transitioning their fleets to electric vehicles (EVs).

The event will feature the latest in electric vehicles, charging options, panelist discussions and networking opportunities, according to a release.

The 9 a.m.–4 p.m. event at the Mesa Convention Center, 263 N. Center St. in Mesa is free but interested attendees must register at electrifyarizona.org/azefd.

Event speakers and exhibitors include representatives from major Arizona cities and utilities, as well as companies leading the electrification transition including Nikola Motors, Waymo, Tesla, Ford, GM, WattEV, Republic Services, and Southern Glazers. Mayor John Giles of the city of Mesa and Diane Brown of AZ PIRG will discuss the opportunities EVs provide for all Arizonans. Utility experts will share the financial incentives of electrification, and experts will discuss their forecasted outlooks for EVs in the next three years.

The Electric Fleet Day is hosted by the Transportation Electrification Activator (TE Activator), which is a coalition of regional stakeholders dedicated to advancing transportation electrification for the benefit of all Arizonans. The TE Activator is supported by SRP, APS, TEP, city of Phoenix, city of Tempe, city of Mesa, ASU, American Lung Association, Western Resource Advocates, and SWEEP.
