A 102-lot attached single-residence development called The Lincoln is planned on 9.1 acres 340 feet west of the southwest corner of Hampton Avenue and Crismon Road.
The Mesa Planning and Zoning Board on Jan. 14 voted 6-0 to recommend the Mesa City Council approve a minor general plan amendment to change the placetype from urban center to urban residential. They also voted to recommend the approval of a special use permit, site plan review and rezoning the property from planned employment park with a planned area development overlay to multiple residence 2 with a planned area development overlay. Board member Chase Farnsworth was absent.
The two items before the board were approved with a stipulation made by Vice Chair Troy Peterson that the wall along the State Route 24 freeway frontage be increased to 8-feet tall.
