New weekly coronavirus cases in Litchfield Park up by 25


The Arizona Department of Health Services reported the number of new weekly coronavirus cases in Litchfield Park 85340 was 25 as of Friday, April 23, bringing the total tally in the ZIP codes to 3,800.

Last week, 19 new cases were reported.

The ZIP code includes the city of Litchfield Park and unincorporated Maricopa County. The state does not separate cases by incorporated and unincorporated areas.

The agency said more than 90% of cases were mapped to the address of the patient’s residence:

As of April 21, Maricopa County health officials reported that 1.1 million county residents, more than 25%, had completed their COVID-19 vaccine series and were considered fully vaccinated.

According to the website, 2,601,564 vaccine doses had been administered in Maricopa County. Of those, 1,478,721 were first dose, 1,117,001 were second dose and 15,842 were unknown.

In Litchfield Park 85340, 51.2% of the eligible population had received their first dose and 35% had received their second dose.
