The Government Finance Officers Association of Arizona has awarded Paige Peterson, Litchfield Park’s director of finance and assistant city manager, the 2026 Excellence in Finance Award.
The award recognizes two finance professionals each year for dedication to public service, leadership and contributions to government finance in Arizona.
Peterson has served as Litchfield Park’s finance director since 2020. City officials said she has helped increase revenue, strengthen financial stewardship and oversee budgets for major projects, including the $5 million city library, the Hilltop School for the Performing Arts and Performing Arts Center, the renovated P.W. Litchfield Heritage Center and Litchfield Square.
