The Goodyear Police Department arrested Todd Michael Fredericks, age 54 of Michigan, March 25. Fredericks, wanted under a fugitive from justice warrant issued in Michigan, is accused of crimes against children charges in Michigan.

This arrest follows a coordinated effort by Goodyear police officers upon receiving information regarding a fugitive's vehicle located within the Phoenix area. Fredericks was wanted after he failed to appear for a jury trial connected to child sexually abusive material charges in Michigan.

On March 25, Goodyear police officers identified a vehicle matching the description provided by the Michigan State Police, complete with a Michigan license plate. Upon confirmation, officers contacted the driver, who initially provided false identification. Through the course of the investigation, the suspect was identified as Fredericks.

Fredericks was taken into custody and booked into the Maricopa County Jail, awaiting due process and legal proceedings.
