Maricopa County is using vote centers for the 2020 primary and general elections, which means Litchfield Park voters are not locked in to waiting in line at specific locations to cast their ballots.
Unlike polling locations, where voters are assigned to vote at specific sites in their precincts, vote centers allow voters to cast their ballots at any vote center location.
Each center has equipment that allows a ballot to be printed, based on the voter’s home address, which will include the appropriate federal, state and municipal candidates and/or issues.
Vote centers are strategically placed throughout the county and are open for the primary election until 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3 and from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday Aug. 4.
Litchfield Park’s vote center is at the Church of Litchfield Park, 300 N. Old Litchfield Road. Voters who received their ballots by mail also may use the drop box at Litchfield Park City Hall, 214 W. Wigwam Blvd.
Residents also may call the Maricopa County Elections Department at 602-506-1511 or visit recorder.maricopa.gov/pollingplace to find other nearby vote center and drop box locations
