Statewide teacher grant program facing March 6 deadline

The Arizona Educational Foundation is teaming up with Intel and the Intel Foundation to provide the “Intel 40 for 40 Teacher Grants” where 40 teachers throughout the state will receive $2,500 grants to fund STEAM projects.
Grants may be used for a variety of STEAM projects, including (but not limited to) increasing engineering and/or technology opportunities for students; community-focused STEAM projects; makerspaces; STEAM field trips; sensory classrooms, gyms, or labs; equipment/supplies needed for STEAM instruction; edible schoolyards; robotics clubs; and STEAM training for teachers.
Deadline to apply is Friday, March 6. Projects may occur anytime between April 1 and Dec. 1.
