The Goodyear Night Market is making its return to the West Valley.
Sponsored by the city of Goodyear, E.L.L.A. (Empowering Latina Leaders in Arizona) and Mujeres Mercado, the market offers a wide selection of vendors and handcrafted goods. The event also features live music and food trucks.
The market goes from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, May 26 at Goodyear Civic Square, off McDowell Road and 150th Drive.
The Mujeres Mercado was the “origin” event that E.L.L.A. created to change the narrative and counter the negative aspects of Latina Equal Pay Day by highlighting and celebrating Latina’s successes and creating opportunities for Latinas and each other, E.L.L.A. notes.
Mercado showcases the best Latina and Latino artisans and entrepreneurs in Arizona.
The Night Market features vendors, handcrafted goods, live music, and food trucks.
