Two Southwest Valley cities are among the country’s 10 least crowded cities with populations over 50,000 and at least 10 square miles of land area, according to a new blog on rent.com.
Buckeye ranked second on the list with a total population of 79,620 and 212 residents per square mile, and Goodyear ranked fifth with a total population of 86,840 and 453 residents per square mile, according to the website, which divided each city’s population by its land area to determine population density, according to a release.
The two cities also are among the fastest growing cities in the country, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, whose population estimates rent.com used.
