ADHS reports 39 new weekly coronavirus cases in Goodyear

June 11 data missing due to technical issues

Because of technical difficulties that prevented Friday, June 11, numbers from being posted, the Arizona Department of Health Services reported 39 new coronavirus cases in Goodyear’s 85338 and 85395 ZIP codes over the week, two fewer than the 41 new weekly cases reported last Friday.

ADHS reports 39 new weekly coronavirus cases in Goodyear

June 11 data missing due to technical issues

Because of technical difficulties that prevented Friday, June 11, numbers from being posted, the Arizona Department of Health Services reported 39 new coronavirus cases in Goodyear’s 85338 and 85395 ZIP codes over the week, two fewer than the 41 new weekly cases reported last Friday.

That brings the overall tally of cases in Goodyear to 11,750 through Thursday, June 10.

The agency said more than 90% of cases were mapped to the address of the patient’s residence:

Vaccinations

Each week, the county updates the number of residents vaccinated, and the percentage of residents vaccinated by ZIP code at maricopa.gov/5671/Public-Vaccine-Data.

As of June 8, Maricopa County health officials reported that 44% of all county residents and more than 50% of county residents 10 and older had received at least one dose.

According to the website, 3,528,120 vaccine doses had been administered to Maricopa County residents. Of those, 1,834,222 were first dose, 1,670,159 were second dose and 23,739 were unknown.

In Goodyear 85395, 61.7% of the eligible population had received their first dose and 54.2% had received their second dose.

In Goodyear 85338, 52.8% of the eligible population had received their first dose and 45.8% had received their second dose.

Fatality rate per 100,000 people: 232.08 (231.05 last Friday)
Number of diagnostic tests conducted: 5,882,108 (5,817,847 last Friday); 9,269 new from the previous day (10,041 last Friday)
Test positivity: 10.4% (10.5% last Friday)
