Woman in critical condition after stabbing in Glendale

On Monday night, the Glendale Police Department updated the details of a stabbing just after midnight near 83rd and Glendale avenues.

The suspect in the stabbing, Zachary Velsasquez, 31, was charged with aggravated assault, Glendale Police Public Safety Communications Administrator Jose Santiago stated in an email.

He stated that Velasquez remained on the scene and was taken into custody.
