WHAM expands open mic night to Glendale

Brittany Espinoza, recreation coordinator for the Glendale Community Center, teamed up with Maggie Gautier, the Literary Arts Manager at WHAM to bring an Open Mic Night  for ten sessions beginning from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday Oct. 17 at the center, 5401 W. Ocotillo Drive.

With a grant from Glendale Arts and Culture, the event will be free for all those who want to participate either as a performer, an audience member or both. It’s a live show where audience members can perform, whether amateurs or professionals.

Many performers start at an open mic. The open mic at Glendale is available to anyone, not just Glendale residents.
