Tolmachoff tabbed for 2 prominent National League of Cities roles

Glendale Councilmember Lauren Tolmachoff was recently appointed to serve on the National League of Cities 2026 Large Cities Council and the Information Technology and Communications Committee.

The one-year appointments allow her to develop policy and guide programs alongside elected officials from similar communities nationwide. These roles are in addition to her existing position on the NLC's Women in Municipal Government board.

“I am honored to serve on the Large Cities Council, as well as other NLC committees and constituency groups to represent Glendale in a meaningful way nationally,” Tolmachoff stated in a press release. “These appointments provide a way to share ideas and successful strategies amongst elected officials nationwide to solve challenges and improve communities.”
