Kellis, Foothills schools in Glendale honor military connections

Raymond S. Kellis High School, a Peoria Unified School District in Glendale, is the district’s newest Purple Star School.

Designated by the Arizona Department of Education, Purple Star schools serve military-connected families as they transition to new schools and communities. To celebrate this accomplishment, students and staff at Kellis High will be have a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10.

The event is open to the public. Kellis High School is at 8990 W. Orangewood Ave.
