Tesla, Inc. celebrated the grand opening of its new Collision Center, adjacent to Luke Air Force Base in Glendale on Sept. 30.
This state-of-the-art facility will provide electric vehicle collision repair services in the West Valley. Tesla owners, including active-duty personnel and families, can receive craftsmanship and convenience.
The Collision Center is in The Base, a seven-building industrial development owned and developed by Phoenix-based ViaWest Group.
Tesla now occupies a portion of one of the buildings at The Base, a new hub for innovative and market-leading tenants. It is just outside Luke Air Force Base, a training hub for F 16 and F 35 pilots and maintainers, with a community exceeding 22,500 active-duty and family members.
“This facility is representative of the kind of innovation we value here in Glendale,” Mayor Jerry P. Weiers stated in a press release. “I’m proud to welcome Tesla’s Collision Center to our city.”
Each Tesla Collision Center is staffed with factory-trained technicians who follow Tesla’s body repair program standards, ensuring repairs are performed with precision. Only original Tesla parts are used, maintaining the safety, integrity, and performance of every vehicle.
The facilities are equipped with aluminum repair capabilities and advanced driver-assistance system calibration. Tesla streamlines the entire repair process through its app, offering customers real-time updates and progress notifications.
Every repair is backed by a lifetime warranty.
This expansion follows the company’s initial investment in 2021, when Tesla opened a combined store, service and delivery center at 93rd and Glendale avenues.
Customers will benefit from reduced wait times, company repair standards and convenient access. The should help decongest nearby service centers in Scottsdale, Tempe, and Gilbert.
“One of my main goals is to attract top-tier businesses to Glendale. This allows our residents to work closer to home, which means more family time, and that is of crucial importance to me,” Weiers stated.
