Seniors restore former Glendale softball power to respectability

Duo wants to lead Cactus to region title, playoffs

Charley Enos and Ciara Anthony came to Cactus High School as freshmen for their own reasons, and they did not know each other.

Four years later, it is hard for either of them to imagine trying to rebuild the Cobras without the other.

“We had softball so we were kind of forced to hang out with each other. And then we kind of realized that we saw the same things and were kind of the same person,” Enos said. “We’ve grown to like each other. I love her. Couldn’t do it without her.”
