Ricemill plans to open in the Collier Center in downtown Phoenix in March and at Arrowhead Towne Center in Glendale later this year.

Ricemill, a modern Asian-inspired rice bowl concept, is set to open its doors in at the Downtown Phoenix Collier Center, 201 E. Washington St.
That store will open in March, followed by the first West Valley location in Arrowhead Towne Center, 7700 W. Arrowhead Towne Center Drive, Glendale.
Ricemill will hire 30 full-time and part-time employees for each location.
“We’re excited to introduce accessible, chef-driven rice bowls to communities, combining high quality, convenience, dynamic flavors, and innovation,” co-founder Fannie Wang stated in a press release.
Founders Fannie Wang, Harry Yu, Chef Yiyi Wang, and Jin Zhang drew inspiration from family gatherings where the aroma of rice bowls prepared by their grandmas filled the air.
Along with a mixture of long and short rice grains, rice noodles or vegetables are additional base options.
The menu includes premium proteins such as Szechuan mala steak, yuzu shrimp, Hong Kong-style crispy chicken and Szechuan BBQ tofu. Complementary housemade toppings include sweet and sour eggplants, sauteed mushrooms, purple cabbage, pickled cucumber and radish, and sweet corn can be added.
