Cornerstone Healing Center, an Arizona-wide mental health and substance abuse treatment center, announced the opening of two new supportive housing facilities in Glendale in late February.

The newly renovated facilities provide supportive housing to patients participating in an intensive outpatient program, at no additional cost, to improve the likelihood of completing treatment successfully.

“We’ve found that recovery is most successful when individuals have a stable and supportive environment,” stated Estil Wallace, founder and CEO of Cornerstone Healing Center, in a press release. “Our new housing facilities will provide a safe space for patients to heal, at no extra cost. By removing housing as a barrier to treatment, we hope to give our patients the best chance at recovery and build a strong foundation for lasting change.”

The newly renovated houses were designed to ensure a safe and structured environment during the recovery process and promote healing. They will feature spacious rooms for group therapy, peer connection, and other wellness activities.

The women’s housing facility will feature nine beds and the men’s housing facility will feature 12 beds.

Cornerstone provides an evidence-based approach to treatment, offering flexible intensive outpatient programs that meet either four or five days a week. Housing facilities will serve as a vital resource for those participating in an intensive outpatient program five days a week.

Cornerstone Healing Center accepts most insurances including AHCCCS, Cigna, UMR, Aetna, GEHA, BlueCross BlueShield, and TriCare. To check eligibility or to learn about Cornerstone Healing Center, visit cornerstonehealingcenter.com.
