One Step Beyond Inc., a leading Valley nonprofit organization that provides educational, vocational, recreation and performing arts programs for adults age 18 and up who have intellectual disabilities, invites the community to attend the 2024 Showcase Festival.

Presented by BW Parts, the event is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at Glendale Heroes Regional Park, located at 83rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road in Glendale.

The event will feature diverse performances from One Step Beyond’s music and dance programs, as well as one-of-a-kind paintings, pottery and additional art pieces for sale created by One Step Beyond participants. The One Step Beyond Catering Program will provide food at the event.

“Whether One Step Beyond participants are performing their favorite song on stage, showing off their moves in a new routine, or creating a piece of pottery – they give 100 percent,” says Madison Blanton, CEO of One Step Beyond. “The Showcase Festival provides an opportunity for the artists demonstrate their talents, and a chance for the community to connect as they witness the importance of inclusion in the art world and beyond.”

In addition to performances, the 2024 Showcase Festival will also feature games, activities, food trucks, partner booths, raffles, and more fun for attendees to take part in as they celebrate and witness the variety of talents of One Step Beyond participants. A $5 entry fee will cover games and activities for attendees. Glendale Mayor Jerry Weiers will also be speaking at the event.

“The 2024 Showcase Festival promises to be a memorable experience, and you may just walk away with a new favorite local music act or an eye-catching art piece for your home,” Blanton said.
