“It was a very moving ceremony to attend,” stated Glendale Mayor Jerry P. Weiers in a press release. “I am thankful for the invitation from Rear Admiral Robert Nowakowski. The military holds a special place in my heart, and I want to thank both our outgoing and incoming commanders for their service.”

The strength of today’s Navy is deeply rooted in its customs and traditions, each contributing to its stability, combat readiness, and effectiveness.
