Campaign finance reports: Most LD 28 candidates focus on consulting leading up to primary

Livingston continues to have deepest pockets

While incumbent Rep. David Livingston continues to have the deepest pockets heading into the Legislative District 28 primary election July 21, most of the three-person Republican ticket spent the last campaign finance period spending money on political consulting rather than fundraising.

Livingston, who had a balance of more than $111,000 on-hand by the end of the July 15 deadline, spent more than $20,000 on consultant Grassroots Partners during the second quarter reporting period, which ran April 1-June 30.

Pigerelli, who had a balance of more than $37,000 on-hand by the end of the deadline, spent about $12,100 also on Grassroots Partners.
