The schedule is out for this spring’s graduation ceremonies for Deer Valley Unified School District’s five high schools.
The district governing board during its Tuesday, Feb. 17, meeting will vote on approving a cost of $139,351.66 for the Thursday, May 14, events to be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale.
The rental fee amount includes $66,550 (or, $13,310 per school), plus an additional $21,185 for estimated audio/visual expenses, and up to $15,000 for potential vandalism to be used only if needed. Other costs include $22,823 in additional security fees, and a venue-charged parking fee of $13,793.
