Where: ASU West, 4701 W. Thunderbird Road, Glendale
Hundreds of kids will commemorate Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the annual March on West event in Glendale.
Residents can march around the ASU West campus, at 4701 W. Thunderbird Road, starting at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 18. The event will also feature a reenactment of Dr. King’s “I Have a Dream” speech at 11 a.m.
Charles St. Clair annually recites the iconic speech at the event. St. Clair is a professor of practice on the faculty of Arizona State University at the West campus where he teaches acting, directing, and serves as the technical director for the School of Humanities Arts and Cultural Studies in the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences.
This year will mark the 32nd anniversary of March on West.
