Glendale will test downtown holiday light display tonight

Glendale will be testing the lights in Murphy Park, which is part of the 1.7 million light, 16-block holiday lighting display, in preparation for the nearly two-month long celebration.

The lights will be on 5:30-6:30 p.m. tonight, Monday, Nov. 23.

New features this year include lighted canopies, skylines and Sprinkle the reindeer. The official turn-on will come on Thanksgiving Eve, Wednesday, Nov. 25.

Murphy Park is in Historic Downtown Glendale, at 58th and Glendale avenues.
