Glendale seeks public comment on presiding judge

The Glendale City Council is seeking public input on the potential reappointment application of presiding City Judge Nicholas C. DiPiazza.

Signed, written comments can be submitted by all interested parties. Written comments must be received no later than April 18, 2024.

The City Council will consider public comments and other relevant factors in determining Judge DiPiazza’s reappointment. DiPiazza has served as presiding City Judge of the Glendale City Court since Nov. 1, 2020.

 DiPiazza has worked for the city Glendale or its court since 2005, including a stint as the city’s chief deputy city attorney, and interim city attorney before current city attorney Michael Bailey was hired in September 2013.

His application for reappointment is for another two-year term. The Glendale City Court is at 5711 W. Glendale Ave.
