Glendale planners approve infill housing, fast food spot

The Glendale Planning Commission unanimously recommended two proposals for infill development - one a small housing development and the other a drive-thru restaurant - during its Feb. 27 meeting.

Orangewood Meadows II is the proposed housing development, just inside the city boundaries on the northwest corner of Orangewood and 43rd avenues.

Seven two-story homes would be on 1.48 acres, as would a gated park, playground and picnic area. The property was rezoned from commercial office designation by the City Council in October.
