Donors do not need to know blood type to donate. There is a critical need for all blood donors of all blood types in Arizona.
The blood drive at Arrowhead will offer appointments for common whole blood donations as well as power red donations, in which donors give two units of red blood cells in a single session.
After donating, participants can relax in the recovery area and make a stop for a light snack to replenish fluids and nutrients.
“As a social and retail hub, we are committed to giving back in numerous ways,” stated Rachel Olish, senior marketing manager at Arrowhead Towne Center. “Hosting regular blood drives provides shoppers, retailers and others in the community a convenient opportunity to participate in an important, potentially lifesaving, effort.”
