Glendale Police Sgt. Joshua Wade is the new Glendale Fraternal Order of Police president.
Wade has spent 25 years with the Glendale Police Department and has been a part of the FOP for 20 years. Mayor Jerry Weiers congratulated him on the new title Aug. 27.
“I am thankful to Sgt. Wade for his continued service to our Glendale community, and congratulate him for this new role,” Weiers stated in a press release. “To be selected by his peers to serve as the next FOP President is a big deal. It shows the impact that Sgt. Wade has made both in the community, but also within his department.”
