Glendale folllows trend of larger Arizona cities' slow growth

Growth has largely stalled across some of the state’s largest cities, including Glendale.

New U.S. Census estimates have the city’s population now at 260,572, which is an increase of 1.5% from 2024.

Since the 2020 decennial Census, Glendale has seen a growth rate of 4.9%. That is higher than larger cities like Phoenix, Tucson, Mesa and Chandler.
