Glendale crime statistics drop, still relatively high

Glendale’s crime rate plummeted between 2023 and 2024, and more significantly than the decrease from 2022 to 2023, according to a combined analysis of CrimeGrade.org and City-Data.com statistics.

However, Glendale currently maintains a C-minus on CrimeGrade, which is more in line with Phoenix to its east and north than Peoria to the west in safety rankings.

CrimeGrade’s annual tangible cost of crime per Glendale resident is $471, $19 above the national average of $452.
