Glendale council tables art wall proposal for new City Hall

This three-part artwork from Cliff Garten Studio from Venice, Calif., was chosen by the Glendale Arts Commission to submit to the City Council as an art wall for the new City Hall. As of Dec, 3, the council does not approve of this desig.

Nothing is certain regarding the artwork on the outside of Glendale's new City Hall.

However, following the Nov. 25 City Council workshop, the art wall planned for the building's southern side is highly unlikely to be the artwork recommended by the Glendale Arts Commission.

Council members Leandro Baldenegro and Bart Turner had excused absences. Four of the other five council members said they did not like the chosen art by Cliff Garten Studio from Venice, Calif., or did not like its price tag.
