Gas spending for Glendale city vehicles up $50K per month over last year

Gas prices are surging again this spring, and the city of Glendale’s fleet vehicles are feeling the pinch as well.

On Monday, AAA reported that the average cost of a gallon of regular unleaded gas in Glendale is $5.13. A gallon of diesel, meanwhile, has risen to $5.52.

Compare that to one year ago on the same day when, according to AAA, a gallon of regular unleaded in Glendale was $3.14, and a gallon of diesel was $3.15.
