The Cactus Robotics team is made up of 26 students from across the district. The team includes 20 male students, six female students and is made up four seniors and 22 underclassmen.
Students worked through the summer and fall to prepare for these competitions, and the entire robot was designed, fabricated and programmed by the students with the help of industry mentors.
Cactus Robotics recently won the Arizona FIRST Robotics State Championship earlier this month. Next up for the Cobras is the Beach Blitz Invitational in Capistrano Valley, Calif. where they will match up against 42 teams from across the country.
