On April 27, Banner Thunderbird Medical Center unveiled its renovated emergency department lobby as part of a larger investment plan.
Banner Thunderbird's campus is on 33 acres at 5555 W. Thunderbird Road, Glendale.
“Our emergency department is the front door to this hospital, and we understand the importance of offering a warm, welcoming and safe environment for the many people who step inside during times of uncertainty,” Jennifer Toerpe, chief nursing officer of Banner Thunderbird, stated in a press release. “By taking steps to revamp these areas and improve the patient experience, we’re not merely investing in our building — we’re investing in the community we serve.”
