NexMetro Communities, a developer of leased single-family rental neighborhoods, is opening its 21st new Avilla Homes community in the Valley, with more projects currently in development.
Avilla Palomino in Glendale opens in late November, following two other projects earlier this year — Avilla Broadway in Phoenix and Avilla Mystic in Peoria. NexMetro has four more projects under construction in the Valley.
“This high-quality living experience has broad appeal, and our residents are very diverse—from millennials and young families to those in mid-life and retirement.” stated Linda Coburn, vice president of asset management for NexMetro, in a press release.
Avilla Palomino will be a 197-home community is on the southeast corner of 51st and Peoria avenues in Glendale. It is within driving distance of Historic Downtown Glendale, Glendale's Sports and Entertainment District, and Arrowhead Towne Center.
Nearby employers such as Banner Thunderbird Medical Center and Honeywell Aerospace DSES. For more information, visit www.AvillaPalomino.com.
Coburn stated new Avilla Homes communities offer hallmark private backyards, private entries and high 10-foot ceilings, while also debuting new floorplans featuring additional storage.
“It’s more about efficiency than increasing square footage. Now our residents have even more options to keep their seasonal decorations, mementos, sports equipment and more in their new Avilla home.” Coburn stated.
Jared Geisler, managing director of NexMetro’s Phoenix Division, said while BTR neighborhoods have a significant presence in the Southwest Valley, the area’s continued growth has fueled demand.
“We are highly strategic in identifying great locations where people want to live,” stated Geisler. “And while our growth in the Valley has been steady, the housing shortage has been exacerbated by low availability and affordability.”
