The last public hearing item at Tuesday night's Glendale City Council voting meeting, about Project Eagle (and Project Baccara as it turns out) was a prelude of sorts to more consequential meetings to come.
It was a public hearing attached to the blank petition attached to a future potential annexation of 160 acres for the data centers and gas power generation plant. The council does not vote on the blank petition and its vote on the annexation of this land is scheduled fir the Oct. 27 council meeting at 5:30 p.m.
Before that though, the Glendale Planning Commission will hear about a zoning change related to the potential annexation. That meeting begins at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24 at City Hall, 5850 W. Glendale Ave.
