A Glendale Apollo High School student has received a full-ride scholarship through a partnership between the Southwest Tennis Foundation and Programs for After School Success.
Alma Preciado was provided with a scholarship to Stanford University through the two non-profit organizations focused on supporting tennis and youth education, with their resources directed at low-icome communities.
Preciado applied for the QuestBridge National College Match, a program that gives high-achieving students from low-income backgrounds full-ride scholarships to the nation’s best colleges.
