Four students with ties to Glendale find themselves among the 79 semifinalists for the Flinn Scholarship’s Class of 2026.
Jadyn Beach, of Ironwood High School; Glendale resident Chelsea Brand, of Greenway High School; Glendale resident Anjani Chakka of BASIS Peoria; and Elizabeth Young, who attends Sandra Day O’Connor High School within Deer Valley Unified School District, represent Arizona seniors who have emerged from a pool of 1,150 applications submitted this past October.
Deer Valley Unified has boasted a Flinn Scholarship winner for four consecutive years. Young represents back-to-back appearances for Sandra Day O’Connor High School on the semifinalist list.
