2 chances in Glendale this week to safely dispose of pharmaceutical meds

The Glendale Police Department, CVS Pharmacy and the Drug Enforcement Administration will provide residents a chance to safely and conveniently dispose of expired, unwanted or unused pharmaceutical substances and other medications.
There will be two locations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 30: at CVS at 18591 N. 59th Ave., and also at CVS, 5125 W. Olive Ave.
Controlled, non-controlled and over the counter substances will be accepted.
Glass containers, inhalers, intravenous solutions, injectable drugs and syringes cannot be accepted due to potential hazards posed by blood-borne pathogens.
