Verde at Cooley Station, a 23-acre mixed-use development in Gilbert, will celebrate the completion of construction with a ribbon cutting and two-day grand opening Dec. 5-6.
The Gilbert Chamber of Commerce will host the ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5.
Events following the ceremony include appearances by Disney characters, face painting, a moonlit movie screening and a live comedy show. A “Verde Crawl” promotion will feature tenant specials and prizes totaling up to $4,000. The Verde Mural Project, in partnership with Artlink, will debut a virtual art tour of murals throughout the property.

Saturday’s activities include yoga on the green, appearances by Phoenix Suns dancers and mascot Go the Gorilla, a magician, live music and giveaways.

The grand opening highlights the center’s role in Gilbert’s growing commercial landscape and its expanded dining, retail and entertainment options.
Verde at Cooley Station includes restaurants, retail shops, professional offices, health and wellness facilities and residential apartments, all centered around a community park.
The design emphasizes walkability and community engagement, with a central green space for events and activities.
